The art of connecting

Much is said and written about networking. I'm a big believer in networking for life in general. Lately though I am calling it connecting because I see so many people running around a group handing out their cards and calling it "networking" . Connecting is always learning something about the other person and listening well enough to find out if there is something I can offer besides just my services or product.
