- From janitor to stockbroker, trucking company owner. Cleon Cox III has invested his time, energy and expertise as facilitator of the Job Finders Support Group, Portland, OR. since 1991. Born in San Jose, Ca., Cox explored careers in both blue and white collar arenas before becoming a business owner. His experience reflects customer service. His background exemplifies family and commitment to community. Cox is the 2002 recipient of the Herb Stude Award for outstanding educational service, D7 Toastmasters Int.. Cleon has earned his DTM(Distinguished Toastmaster) in 2009. In 2010 He was the recipient of the Toastmasters Presidential Citation. This support group facilitator turned author is a 68 year old great grandfather of five (9/19/10). Cox helps create new Toastmaster Clubs in the Portland metro area. He is an active member of Wallmasters International, Tigard, OR. Other professional affiliations include: Northwest Association of Book Publishers, Masonic Lodge (Tigard), Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, AARP Safe Driver Training, to name a few. He has devoted over 2200 hours in counseling/mentoring people to achieve success in their job search.
